Superstar Mahesh Babu has been depressed with the result of his last movie titled Brahmotsavam. The movie ended as the biggest debacle in his career which has been directed by SreekanthAddala. Prasad V Potluri produced Brahmotsavam on PVP Cinema which has been made on a budget of Rs 75 crores. The movie failed to impress the audience and Mahesh has been taking his time to come out of the film’s failure. He has been on a break and is preparing for his next movie.
Top director AR Murugadoss will direct the film which will be launched during the last week of July. The movie is said to be a stylish action entertainer which will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. Mahesh for the first time in his career will be seen in a dual role in the film. The makers initially roped Parineeti Chopra for the female lead and there have been discussions number of times about the remuneration. Though they never confirmed Parineeti Chopra’s name, the latest news we hear is that RakulPreet Singh has been finalized for the role.
RakulPreet Singh has been initially considered for one of the female leads in Mahesh Babu’sBrahmotsavam however she could not allot the dates and hence walked out of the film. Now RakulPreet Singh is no mood to Mahesh’s film and she signed the film on spot. However she also will receive wide recognition in Tamil Nadu as the film will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. Top producers NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu will produce the Telugu version of the movie and AR Murugadoss, Fox Star Studios will produce the Tamil version.
Made on a budget of Rs 100 crores, this untitled film will hit the screens during summer next year.
