Five friends washed away in MP

In a tragic incident, a group of five friends washed away on Wednesday at Purwa waterfall, about 40 km away from Reewa district of Madhya Pradesh.
The incident took place when the boys tried to click a selfie in the waterfall. According to a national media house, when the five boys went into the middle of the Purwa waterfall, the level of the flowing water had increased suddenly as the area witnessed rains. The boys got stuck there. Though there were several others who came there on a picnic, they could not save the boy, challenging the speed of the flowing water.
As per local media reports, the boys managed to stay still for a while but could make it. The local authorities are on the lookout for the five missing youth. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed concern and sadness over the incident.
On several occasions, officials have advised people stay away from waterfalls during rainy season as the flow and level of water can increase any moment and can prove fatal.
