President accepts resignation of 5 ministers

President of India Pranab Mukherjee has accepted the resignation of five ministers, including Ram Shankar Katheria and Sanwar Lal Jat, who have been dropped from the Union Cabinet.
All the five tendered their resignation letters after swearing-in ceremony of new 19 minister and were forwarded to the President of India. Pranab Mukherjee, following the advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accepted the resignation of these ministers. The five ministers are MoS HRD Ram Shankar Katheria, Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Nihal Chand Meghwal, MoS Tribal Affairs Manuskhbhai D Vasva, MoS Water Resources Sanwar Lal Jat, and MoS Agriculture M K Kundariya.
As many as 19 new faces, including BJP leaders SS Ahluwalia and MJ Akbar, were on Tuesday have been inducted into the Modi government expansion. In the process, Smriti Irani has been removed from the Human Resource Ministry and Prakash Javadekar was given the same.
